Default Seat Broken... Is it Covered Under Added Care Warrranty

Hi everyone, new here! I'm posting on the behalf of my wife. She has a 2001 PT Cruiser Touring Ed. Something inside her passenger seat is broken. It seems centralized to the back rest. Whenever any pressure is applied to it, it "gives" and isn't firm (the back rest will actually move back when you apply more pressure). So whenever she accelerates, my body is enough to push the seat and it feels like the back rest is going to snap. It's hard to explain. What could have broken inside, and is it repairable?

Does anyone know if this would be covered under her extended warranty? She has Chrysler Added Care.

Thanks in advance.

David
