Question 01 T&C Horn is not working and Airbag light

Hi, I am new to this board but driving the T&C for sometime now. The airbag light started to illuminate and the horn will not sound. When you unlock the doors, the horn sounds but not when honking.

I have searched the forum and pin point it down to a clock spring? I also learn that this was a recalled item. Do you think an 01 with 85k still qualify for this recall service?

If not, where and what is the part number for the clock spring and is this a DIY project?

I appreciate all of your advices.

Hi
You have to remove the air bag so I don't advise this as a DIY job.

I have an 06 Town and Country, I recently had the rack and pinion replaced and to my knowledge the steering wheel was not removed, but I too have the same problem now, when the mechanic returned it, the air bag light was on, the horn would not blow, and cruise control was non operational,,, but horn would blow when remote lock was activated
