1998 Plymouth Breeze Cigarette Lighter and Horn not working
Hey guys,
Im having an issue here and trying to figure out why my horn and cigarette lighter isnt working and its been this way for the past 2 years. I have been looking for the cigarette lighter fuse but not luck with that. I checked on the side panel of the dash where the fuse box is and under the hood near the air filter and see nothing relating the cigarette lighter. As for the horn I checked the relay and when I put the relay in and press the horn all I hear are clicks coming from the relay but no sound from the horn itself. If anyone can guide me through this I would greatly appreciate it. I checked all over the web and not nowhere.

thats weird the lighter and radio work of the same power,my guess is the heating element is no good or unplugged form behind, the horn Do you hear a 'clicking sound' when you push the horn?
1st - make sure that your clockspring in the steering column. If so, the airbag warning light is usually on.
2nd- Listen for the relay (under the plastic box cover with the relays and fuses) in the engine compartment to click when you push the horn.
IF no click, try swapping the HORN relay with another identical relay (with the vehicle OFF). IF you get clicking and no horn, check horn connection and then replace the horn.

My horn/cig lighter fuse blows occasionally as well. There is a 20amp fuse(#7 I think) that needs to be replaced. As far as the radio it is protected by a different fuse unless you have a factory high end stereo installed.I haven't found the culprit yet but will post when I do.
