got a VIP report from the dealer as I bought my van Used. says I have the HD towing package and factory towing wiring. Where do I find this connection at? haven't asked te dealer yet, thought I would try here to save the trip.

going to be towing a trainer in a few days and kinda need this...lol

I'm not 100% sure on this, but if you don't see anything looking under the van, you might check in the rear quarterpanel compartment where the jack is stored and see if there's a wiring harness in there in a plastic Mopar bag. I think the towing package vans came with the harness provided, but not installed. Installation is no big deal-- just remove the tail-lights and plug in the harness, route the wires and put the tail lights back on.

 

Rick99, that's pretty accurate. On my '08 I have the trailer tow PREP. Which is basically the load level control on the rear suspension and the trailer wiring harness. The harness was not installed, it was indeed in a plastic MOPAR bag. But mine was in my centre console.
