I have a 04 T&C with over 300,000 miles. The a/c is real slow to blow cool air and never gets real cold.
I recharged but no help.
Any ideas? Thanks

 

With that many miles and age, has any work been done on the A/C system during it's lifetime? Hoses get old, the lines underneath the van for a possible rear heat/A/C become suspect also, as they tie in to the lines for the front system. ANY leaks will not allow any recharge to hold and have the system work properly. You stated you recharged the the system...HOW,with a quick charge can?? Since that didn't help, it is time for having the system evacuated and tested for any leaks which will also show what parts are faulty when done by a good A?C service tech.

 

REBEL59 you are probably right, with all of these miles it could be a number of things.
And, a good a/c service is probably what I need.

Good Luck, From checking you previous postings, you must still really like the usefulness of the van! Hope you are not in a "must have" working a/c area unlike me where yeah for maybe 3 weeks it is nice to have working(but all my rides do work fine), knock on wood!
