Hi, I have a 2014 town and country and air conditioning started not to cool very well so I went to the auto parts store and bought a can of coolant with the hose attached to it, I turned van on turned air conditioning on to max and charged the system with it, the full can went into system but hot air started to come out instead of cold. what can problem be?

Over serviced??? Need to have the high and low system pressures tested.

I took to mechanic this morning he hooked up machine and said that the system had to much pressure so he frained ptessur from system and refilled with freon and dye combination. System cooled a little but was told that I needed a new compressor because it was not circulating the freon. What is your opinion?

I couldn't say from here. Consider a second opinion. If the compressor is indeed toast you'll have to have the system flushed or you'll be changing another compressor soon. Have to get any metal debris out of the system.
