I have just bought a 2nd hand Grand Voyager and there is a knocking sound on the drivers side near the rear, not constant just when going over bumps in the road.

It also has a hole it the middle box on the exhaust which is being replaced not sure if it is connected but don't think so.

Any ideas?

 

Shock mount, exhaust, leaf spring mount, spare tire, sliding door, rear hatch, wheel jack, etc.
