Default 06 T&C - adding new fog lights

Hello people. I'm looking for some help. Been through google forever for this.

I own a 2006 town and country - base model. It did not come with fog lamps and the front bumper does not have a provision for it. I want to add the fog lamps.

I think I have found the switch and wiring (between dash and front of car). However, I'm totally lost on what to do about the lamp. How and where do I mount it?

Anyone do this yet? Thoughts? Ideas?

You say that "front bumper does not have a provision for it" so you have two choices.
1) Buy a pair of aftermarket fog lamps and fix them to the front of your car.
2) Buy a front bumper from a breakers that does have provision for fog lights.

Never done it, but would imagine that you need to replace your bumper with a higher spec one. Scrapyard, breakers or ebay. Assuming that the wiring is there of course behind the bumper already.

I am doing the same thing for my '07. What style of front bumper do you have?
I found the perfect lights for mine on ebay.

Not sure what you mean by style? This URL has it.

Lights are not the problem. Neither are switch and the wiring. Where are you mounting the lights and how?

I was hoping for a hack... like drilling into the bumper and mounting it. But wanted to see some pictures of it already being done. Once you drill, there's no going back.

These fit perfect in the upper or lower slots of the bumper.

How much light do these give out? I've seen these on eBay and other sites. 2 concerns

1. They don't look like they give out enough light. I live in MN and need good lighting in winters.

2. I've read in reviews that these warp because of temperature.

For only 10 bucks, I"m willing to take the chance. Let's see how long the last in south Florida heat.
I will also add LED lights strips to the edges of the head lights. I will post pictures when I complete everything (also changing both headlights as they are worn and seals are gone).
