12V Power from Interior Lights

Default 12V Power from Interior Lights
I was planning on taking power from one of the interior lights to power an accessory, but after reading the post by CHRYSLER TECH in this thread: interior light wiring I'm beginning to have second thoughts. Can anybody offer advice.
