I would like to tint the front (doors) windows in my 1997 T&C van. I'd like them to match as closely to the factory tint in the rear of the vehicle. I'm sure someone has done this. Any suggestions on which tint to use? I plan on doing it myself (I've done it before)

It may depend on where you live, as some states have mandated how much tint is allowed on drivers/passenger doors. I usually use the roll stuff available at Home Depot/Lowe's and many auto parts suppliers. Check with your states version of the highway patrol. They should know what the laws are. Another source would be commercial tint installers. It's an easy DIY job if you have the right squeegee.

 

I know about the state laws. I think here in Wisconsin they have somewhat relaxed them in recent years. I am more interested in getting something of a similar color/hue...I absolutely hate the Purple "smoke" tint.
