Default 1999 T & C intermitten wipers

My delay wiper function doesn't work but the low and high speed do. My mechanic just replaced the entire switch assembly from the steering column and it didn't fix the problem. He put the old one back in. If I turn on the wipers and try to use the delayed function, the wipers start to move and then stop. Then when I turn them off, they make one wipe and return to the down position. Anyone have any ideas? RSC

By any chance, did you find a solution for your problem? I have a '03 T&C & my wipers has only one speed (Fast) and then it won't stop at its home position. I would have to play with it until it stops low enough so that it does not block my view.

I believe there is a microswitch in the mechanics, and that can go faulty, I have the same issue (mormal and fast ok, intermittent can work or have a fit).

By "Mechanics" do you mean the switch may be physically located on the outside of the vehical near the wiper motor? Rick

Excuse my mispelling of "Vehicle". Should have clicked "Check Spelling". RSC (Rick)

My issue was fixed. My mechanic told me that the new wiper lever switch that was installed was not properly connected or something. Sorry, can't be any clear then this. I guess bottom line try a new switch.

When you refer to the lever switch, are you talking about the entire assembly at the steering column? Rick
