Hi

I'm trying to change the air filter on my 1998 2.4L Voyager, but don't know how to do it exactly. I attached two pictures to this messagee and I circled the area where I think the air filter is located. Is that where it is? There are two tubes that go into that black box (one above and one below). Do I remove those?

that's not it.

the box you marked does not hold the air filter. you have to remove it to get to the filter, but that's not it.
filter is in the box below.

loosen two metal clips on the back side of it and then you can remove the cover. filter is inside.
pay attention when when puting it back on, it has to match the grooves.

 

Jep...and remember to empty old oil waste in the box connecting the engine block and the oil filter box!!!! goodluck
