2.8 CRD Engine Cut
Hi Guys
A friend of mine owns a GV 2.8 CRD on a 2005 plate. He, over the last 3 years, has experienced the well known 2.8 engine cut on hard acceleration. His problem is very intermittent but he has decided to get it sorted this summer. It is most definately the fuel filter housing/heater plug problem that 2.8 GV owners are all to familiar with. I am asking if anyone can give us step by step instructions on how to replace this, location of the unit etc. I have read its an easy fix but would rather still have instructions. Also where we can purchase a new filter housing and heater plug from. Thanks in advance for your help.

The key dance is showing code P1130 but there is no CEL on. Any ideas??
Just checked your code that has been on here many a time for this same fault. For short all I can say is read the past threads and jumping over tried this that tother, you will get a quick resultant answer. But you will/should get someone to direct you but its better to learn from others with same fault.
Fuel pressure comes to mind, Fuel rail pressure sensor, fuel injector leak off, pressure valve.
