Camshaft holding tool is Laser 2869 £11.55 free shipping from ebay.

Doing the pump adds about 2 hrs to the job overall I found.

Looking forward to seeing the pics mate. That seems like a very good price for the kit including water pump! Ive had quotes for over £140 for the water pump alone! I must look harder for a deal me thinks.

Hi!

I'm in the middle of a timeing belt replacement and have found the locking groves on the cams. The flywheel locking is more of a mystery to me. Where on earth do I find it? The flywheel itself is obviously where the engine and gearbox meet, but where is the locking pin hole???

I have a Voyager 2.5 CRD 2003 that has travelled some 340 000 km.

in their wisdom, VM have made it so you need to remove the starter motor to access the hole for the pin

Regards
Richard
