Exclamation 2000 rpm are not rapidly what could be the problem?

I have a 1996 Voyager 2.5 TD
Faultlessly 2000 rpm.
Then run out of power, and come to a halt. Then, slowly accelerating impossible to overtake him.
The EGR valve works as well as the turbo as well.
Someone help me what can cause this.
Thanks in advance.
