2001 Chrysler T&C Blower Motor resistor
The blower inside my 2001 T&C Limited is running at a constant speed. I can't adjust the fan speed or turn it off. Checked with a mechanic and hesaid the resistor needs to be replaced. Only place I have been able to find the part is the dealerand it costs almost $80 plus labor.
I don't want to spend this kind of money. Does anyone know where I can find it cheaper (NAPA auto parts shows it on their website for $18, but it's no longer available).
Also, the cassette stereo does not work (no power, but the separate CD-changer is okay). Any recommendations for fixing/replacing it?
Thanks.

Only $80.00 bucks huh? Check this out.
2003 T & C. Front blower goes directly to highas soon as I start the van.Stays constant on higheven when I turn off the system.Took to dealer and told me the blower needs replacing. Headded thatthe blower is damaging the "blower resister" I found out later it'snot a resister but a "control module")and BOTH need replacing. Told me it would take 5-6 hours because he had to remove the entire dash in order to remove the blower.
I declined the $1,060.00 (yes....one thousand sixty dollars) charge to repair it
I bought a "Haynes" manual. It took me 5 minutes to remove the "resister" (which actually turned out to be a "control module") and1 hour to remove theblower. After reading numerous posts tonight, I'm going to re-install the blowerand put in a new module. I guess they think my last vehicle was a turnip wagon. (Shame is, I paid them $100.00 to diagnose the problem)

RE: 2001 Chrysler T&C Blower Motor resistor
I have 2001 T and C LXI 3.8 6 cyl with automatic climate control...based on this and other strings, I am sure my blower motor resistor is bad. Can anyone post a picture or diagram of it or tell me where I can find a picture? I want to be sure I took out the right part...it does not look like anything else I've seen when shopping on line for this part. I'm guessing the other pix are for the manual control climate control option but want to be sure before I proceed. Part # is 04885482AA/D with 341/00 below that #. Thanks for whatever help you can provide.

Same problem here. 2001 T&C LXI. Just did mine today. Piece of cake. Drop the glove box down and you're looking right at it. 2 screws and about 30 seconds. Did have to get it at the dealer, the price was still $80.00.
