Default 2001 Voyager 2.5 TD Main Bearings in the UK

Hi. Would anyone know where to get main bearings for a 2001 2.5 TD voyager in the UK? I have been looking for a couple of days now online but can not find any info on them.

My Van has a knock that's either rod or main bearings. I can change the bearings without taking the engine out and figured give it a shot perhaps the rod not damaged. I just need to find them. I guess the dealer would have them for gazillion money.

Using a stethoscope sounds like the first cylinder that has the knock. I don't mean diesel knock but knock from the first cylinder area.

I had taken the belts off to make sure not one of the whirly parts knocking.

As I understand several italian vans and cars have the same engine I just don't know which ones.

Very little info on the net about these diesel engines.

Thanx for helping. I'll let you know how it goes.

Hi Jikanv
I would give JNL engineering L.T.D. A call . They are based in Surreyand are the main dealers for VM Motori. Yours being a2001 would most likely be the 16 valve engine which i`m not familiar with but Shane at JNL will be able to sort you out. Their Number Is 0127663278. I have used them before and they are very reasonable pricewise and their working knowledge is spot on. Good luck
