2002 Chrys T&C Ignitioin Lock R&R
The ignition (key lock) on my 2002 T7C LXi will not turn (I can turn the key by tapping the key while turning it), and I believe i need to replace the key lock cylinder. Does anyone have the procedure for this? Perhaps Pictures? or just any advice would be helpful.
Thanks for any help, I appreciate it.

I never build them. Our parts dept. codes them for 25 bucks. Too many small parts for my huge hands...lol
Just a tidbit.......
There is a 5 or 6 digit code that the dealership uses to Identify your key...Based on the ORIGINAL CYLINDER and Your VIN.....They dont need a Key to trace, they just cut it based on the code.....and it matches the IGNITION and THE DOOR.....
It is possible to gwt an Aftermarket cylinder , with 2 new keys, But your ID code is now invalid, and the key wont match your doors..... OR....You can "BUILD" a new cylinder, coded Identical to the original, and keep the same keys....Its your choice.
Get the Ignition key to the "RUN" position, And look at the lower steering column Shroud. You will see a 1/4 " hole. With a small phillips screwdriver, reach into the hole and depress the lock tab on the cylinder...and pull the cylinder out....
