Generator Control Circuit Malfunction (p0620) fault code
any you guys know how to fix this please,had new alternater 3 months ago if generator means alternator.
Also, this car has done 144k and already had a new clutch on 90k ,but when throttle is floored the engine revs but the clutch seems to slip..does thie mean its on its way out ?
any ideas gratefully received

Generator is the alternator, Have you checked the plug on the back of the alternator seen garages brake them getting it off. other then that need to check the wiring from the ECM (engine controller) to the alternator I have seen them short out on the gearbox bracket, front engine mount, security bracket over the ECM and the top of the engine under the cover.
Have you also checked the fuses?
