Okay....about 2 months ago my van started having some starting issues...
Sometimes when I went to start it, I would just get a click....and I would get a click a few times....and then it would start.
Didn't seem to matter what time of day or if the engine was hot or not...
I took the van to Advance Auto parts and had the charging system and starting system tested...
They told me that the alternator was putting out erratic voltage....not putting out enough voltage to charge the battery to full charge....
They tested the battery also and told me that it tested good...although I knew the battery was older, I wasn't sure of the exact age...but it was in the van when we bought it three years ago..
Starting system also tested okay...
So...I found a good alternator out of a 2007 T&C for a good price....and had that installed.
It was putting out good juice.....charging the way it should...
a couple of days later....back to the old tricks....
go to start the van...and *click*...*click*...and then after a few tries it would start.
This time I took the van into a repair shop of a good friend...and they tested the battery....
It tested bad.....
Had the battery replaced.....that was two days ago.....today went out to start the van and *click*...*click* a couple of times and then it started.
My wife and I ran our errands and it started fine every other time during the day today....
I'll bet that I go out in the AM and it won't start right off...

What are the chances that it is the started that's bad.....
Or....does anyone have any other ideas...???

I will certainly appreciate any input on this.....I am going nuts and we are a one vehicle family...We need this van to be reliable...
