Our 14 month old Town & Country just need to have the pads (all 4) replaced.
OUCH!

While the van has 22k miles, over 7k of those was a trip from Ohio to Colorado, NM, and Texas.

Is this common (to replace break pads with so little mile on the van)?

really depends on how you drive the van. if the driver is a heavy braker, it is possible. my wife is a heavy braker and she can go thru brakes in 20k miles.

 

Get used to it. I put brakes all the way around before 20k and have done at least fronts every year since. My biggest complaint. Tire wear is another problem with these things
