Default 2005 TC Climate Control Problem

We have a 2005 TC Limited with the electronic climate control. Bear with me on this one... This morning, I needed to use the defroster. When I turned the **** to the defrostersetting the air flow did not change- it wouldonly allow air to flow from the dash vents, not the defroster vent at the windshield. Later in the day, sensing that I had a problem, I tried the other settings. As expected, when I tried the bi-level setting and the floor setting the air continued to only comefrom the dash vents. So, regardless of which control setting I'm on, it seems"stuck"in the one position.

Any input is appreciated...

there are a few small motors on the heater box to adjust it when the controls are chaged.
These motors open & close doors to allow the air flow to go to different places(feet, defrost).
It may be a vaccume line that came off of the heater box somewhere, but you probably need a new blend-door motor. I'm not familair with mopar's pricing, but it shouldn't be a very expensive part. Labor on the other hand, might be.

only have electric motors no vac lines ne more. All the motors are on the driver side and u can get to them easy take the mode door actuator off and swap it with a different one see if it moves if not new motor if it does then wire or ac control head issue.

1 - WIRE HARNESS CONNECTOR 2 - MODE DOOR ACTUATOR 3 - SCREW (2) 4 - DRIVER BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR (DUAL-ZONE) 5 - HEATER CORE 6 - BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR (SINGLE ZONE) OR PASSENGER BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR (DUAL-ZONE)
