Exclamation 2005 town and country possessed

I placed my ex wife's van in park, pressed the button to open the back sliding door and about 5 seconds later the van restarted it's self, died and restarted automatically. Whole panel reacted as if the car shut off then went all the way to max and back down to where it would normally be. I can not find any information on this and need to figure it out before my daughter gets back in the vehicle. She doesn't have money to take it to be looked at, I usually do the work on it for her but this has me scratching my head.

I'd begin by looking at grounds. For whatever reason Chrysler/Jeep vehicles appear to suffer from grounds going bad more than you expect. Usually the ones I start with are battery to body and battery to engine!
