Default 2006 T&C Muffler Pipe Exposed

Hello,
I just leased a 2006 T&C Limited.
It is a beautiful looking and great driving car.
The only peculiar thing I have noticed is the exposed muffler pipe on the passenger side.
I know that in reconfiguring for the Stow N Go, they moved things around under there.
It just seems weird to me that Chrysler would leave that pipe exposed that way.
Any possible remedies?
Would running boards cover it?
Seems as they could have put a "skirt "down there to cover it up.
Anyone familiar with this issue?
Thanks

Yes factory running boards will hide the exhaust.

You could also try painting the exposed side of the pipe with Black BBQ high temp paint. I think this will hide the pipe somewhat.
