Yes, we have posted here from across the pond also. Unfortunately to prove that kind of fault requires popping out the trans.! And quite rare to see happen.

Hello Folks,
Update,
So on Super Bowl Sunday I replaced the Carquest starters (I tried 2 different ones) $129 from Advanced Auto with a Bosch unit $199 from Napa. Needless to say it has started perfectly overy time since then. Not sure what the issue exactly was but my van did not like the Carquest brand...not sure why.
Eitherway thank you folks for your feedback and information regarding flex plate.
Next job is front struts...Rock On!!

That is quite unusual to have that many starters being defective also! Glad that you "persevere'd" with it and finally got a good unit that is operating as it is supposed to.
Sorry if you missed some of that great game though, It was great to see the true american respect shown at the beginning of the game...and go EAGLES!
