Default 2006 T&C wiper control module

My windshield wipers work sometimes and sometimes they dont. Sometimes they work on intermittant even if they are on high. I have read that it could be the wiper control module but havent been able to confirm where that is. Is it attatched to the windshield wiper motor?

Looking at a wiring diagram there is no dedicated wiper control module. The Body Control Module (BCM) and Front Control Module (FCM) work in concert to control relays that control the wipers. The BCM is up behind the brake pedal on the firewall and the FCM is bolted to the front of the IPM (fuse box).

now that I am looking all over I dont see where there is a wiper pulse board module for Ford, Dodge, Chrysler, etc so maybe that was just a GM part. So you say everything is in the FCM and BCM what can i do to test this to see if it is something in there? The motor seems to work unless there is something inside the motor. I see there are "plugs" in the BCM and i checked to make sure they are all tight and they are. I didn't mess with the FCM yet, because I dont know what I am looking for. I can mess with it by turning the washer on, then turn them off and it will then work some but usually only intermittant.

Disconnecting the BCM or FCM will kill the circuit. Might be able to back probe. Best bet would be to check voltages and grounds at the relays, swap relays.

Would you like the wiring diagrams? Send me a PM with your email address included.
