Unhappy 2006 Town and Country driverside sliding door jammed

Hello,

This is the first time I have posted here. I was arriving home from work and pressed my overhead console switch to open the siding door directly behind me, however my husband tried at the same time to beat me and tried to open the door manually.. hence now the door wont open at all. It starts to and unlocks and then opens Maaaybe an inch and then resets itself closed.

What can I do HELP please.. He was trying to be sweet by helping but now the door wont open at all
Thanks in advance.
Heather

Here are some simple things to try:
Try to open with the overhead console switch, engine running, car in Park or Neutral at standstill.
Try to open with the key fob, same conditions.
Try to open manually from outside the vehicle.
Try to open manually from inside the vehicle.
If none of those work, then try parking the car on an incline, the car facing UP the hill, and repeat the above.
Then try parking the car across an incline, the driver's side door facing DOWN the hill and repeat above.

Nothing too scientific - but things that may assist the door in its effort to open.
Good luck.

Door Module sounds confused, try a Neg battery terminal disconnect for 30 mins....
