Hi to all
I have brought a 2008 Chrysler Grand Voyager 2.8 CRD with the 6 speed auto box, I am going to do a oil & filter Change at the weekend, The problem is, it is a cassett oil filter. You can not get a workshop manual for this engine, So WHERE is the oil filter??? On my old Mercedes V230, the oil filter was on the top side of the engine, So does any one know where it is please.

Take your pick - the RG has the diesel.

 

It's a pig to get to without a ramp. It's at the back of the engine, screwed into an oil cooler which is bolted to the engine block. Be careful that you don't damage the aluminium oil cooler when removing the filter.

Thanks AlanC, what year is your CGV? my 2008 has the oil cooler on the front of the engine,.

 

My GV is a 2007 2.8 TD.
