My 08 T&C started showing the check engine light illuminated this past Sunday. How do I get the code? I've tried the key trick, but no luck. Do I have to take it to a shop. I really don't want to take it somewhere and have them charge me 80 bucks and then have them tell me its something as small as needing to replace the gas cap. My van has showed on the dash that gas cap is loose or something to that effect in the past even though i would remove it and refasten it. Eventually it would go off. Where should I go from here?
