Default 2008 Town & Country Questions

Hi,

My in-laws recently purchased a 2008 Town & Country. As I've been going over it, I have noticed that the lift gate pops when it goes up by remote but not when closing. I tried changing the lift gate supports, but it still persists. I'm inclined to think that the motor needs replaced but wanted some input. Any instructions on how to replace also?

It also seems to have a problem with the front driver's heated seat. The seat heats at times even when the switch is off. I believe the module may have an issue but wanted to check if there are any suggestions or instructions.

Thanks.

One down. The chain on the lift gate assembly was very loose. Tightening it fixed the problem.

The heated seat is an odd issue. I was advised that it is still getting hot with the 20a removed from M8 in the TIPM and the module under the seat unplugged. I asked and was told it was both the seat and back. Last night, I traced down what I believe to be the leads to the elements in the back of the seat at the bottom and unplugged them hoping to stop the heating until the problem is resolved.

Anyone seen anything like this? I can't imagine how it could have still been heating up.
