I have a 2010 t&c there is a ticking noise coming from the engine. It is constant and starting to get worse. The van only has 72K miles, and has had regular oil changes and maintance done. We took it to a local shop for an oil change and to check on the ticking noise. We were told that it is most likely the rocker arm, and that it is still under warranty because it doesn't have 100K on it yet. Has anyone else had this problem, and is it truly covered by the warranty????

 

I recon you have the answer so find out what your Warranty covers. Most cover engines so there's no sma writing op outs.

For your 2010 model, the powertrain limited warranty lasts for up to 5 years or 100,000 miles on the odometer, whichever occurs first. The powertrain limited warranty covers the cost of all parts and labor needed to repair a manufacturer defect on a covered powertrain component – engine, transmission and drive system – on most Chrysler vehicles.
