2011 TIPM Failure: 3 Replacement TIPMS Defective
Team,
Here is the situation: After intermittent electrical problems of my 2011 T&C, only with 24,500 miles, and finally a "crank-no-start" condition, I took my van to the mechanic and he ultimately replaced the TIPM:
1. Replacement TIPM #1: Right Front turn signal didn't work, Left Front turn signal activates the FOG lights. 110V A/C Inverter no power at button. "Econ" Fuel to power at button. However, the new TIPM with its new fuel relay allows the car to start and run.
2. Rewired TIPM #1 per the service bulletin - still same problems with turn-signals activating Fog lights or not working. Still no power at Econ or 110V buttons.
3. Replaced TIPM #1 with #2, and finally a THIRD (#3) TIPM - and all the same problems exist except that mysteriously, the 110V A/C now has power.
Summary: 3 TIPMS all apparently defective. When Right Turn Signal is activated, there is NO 12V power produced at any pin location of the TIPM. Much trouble shooting has been done. Chrysler dealer will not help the shop. The shop paid for an independent Chrysler programming expert to come and ensure the TIPM(s) were being installed and wired correctly. All published instructions were followed, and still not working. The "12 second key" procedure has been followed multiple times.
Please "help" me research and communicate to my shop any additional instructions that may be available. My family and I love the car - been super great so far. I want to get a lasting fix to this TIPM issue and get the van healthy again.
Thanks,
Jim

Very sad there is no knowledgeable response from Chrysler. As of yesterday, using the third TIPM, the "check engine" light is back in, and when using remote start, the engine runs for 15 seconds, surges up/down, then stalls.
This is a BS scenario for an auto owner to be in.

Have you at any point used a Chrysler dealership for service? They may be able to diagnose this further than an independent mechanic can (not sure what type of tools your mechanic has to their disposal), and also check different software flashes that are potentially available for your vehicle and can make a difference to TIPM performance.

Awesome! Please reach out if you need any assistance making an appointment or would like some additional follow up. We're happy to get in touch with the dealership as well on your behalf.

Solved
The dealer required the car-side wire harness to work with the new TIPM. See attached picture. Car runs great now, but through this process, developed a "cam phaser" issue that prevents the "fuel economy" mode/button from working.

Today, "Instrument Cluster" failure. Engine keeps running, but dashboard lights are off. WTF this car!
the small rectangle screen between the tachometer and speedometer is cutting in/out.

The screen switch is a bit intermittent (this is a rotoray dial switch), after fiddling with it, dash screen light back on:
1. Check-Engine light is back on: The code indicates P00014, "Camshaft Phaser". Shop wants $900+ to replace. Youtube videos indicate this is a $25.00 part. The rear sensor appears to take no special effort to replace, and the front sensor appears to require the airbox to be removed from the top of the engine.
Any tips for this job? Thx Jim
