Default 2012 T&C 3.6l Internal Coolant Leak

Hello all. A friend of mine bought her 2012 T&C with the 3.6 Pentastar to me for a coolant leak. She said that she has been having to add a gallon of coolant every 4 or 5 days! I pulled the oil cap and the was milky goo underneath it. Pulled the dipstick and it too was contaminated, I did an exhaust gas test at the radiator cap and the test fluid turned yellow. Decided to pull the valve covers and they were coated with the milky goo as well as the cams, rockers and basically everything under the covers. Drained the oil and pulled the pan, it showed contamination but not as much as the top end. She mentioned that she had the head gaskets replaced about two years ago and I could see the steel gaskets under the heads. never worked on this particular engine so I talked to a few mechanic friends and the almost all said the it is almost impossible for the steel head gaskets to blow and one said to check the oil cooler on the top of the engine because it has a water orifice in it and he has seen where that has cracked and allowed water into the oil. Is there a way to test the oil cooler if I take it off? I think I can rule out the water pump seal since that would dump coolant almost directly down to the oil pan (I think).I really want to eliminate as much as possible before pulling the heads and costing her a bunch of money that she doesn't have. Really looking for any other ideas. I'm pretty decent with engines but mostly the older carbureted ones which makes me kind of an old knuckle buster!
Thanks in advance!

the MLS headgaskets are not the issue if the engine over heated the heads are warped

Thanks for the reply CT! Getting ready to pull the chains and then cams. Waiting on the cam phaser blocks to come in to pull them. So if it overheated, that would mean something was failing to make it happen. I will be replacing the thermostat and housing and the water pump seemed ok, no water stains around it. Should I replace that as well? Anything else I should be looking at on this engine that would cause it to overheat?
Thanks again!

Default Sludge In Engine

After Puling the Valve covers, this is what I found! Pulled the Left Head and found a coolant pool in #2 Cylinder. Head gasket did not show any blowouts or significant damage. Going to pull the other soon and see what it looks like. Hopefully not a cracked block! Going to send the heads in and see how they come out...
