I have a 2012 town and country. AC reads almost full. Had it tested but ac only comes out if I put a fresh can in and it's only for about 20 miles. Compressor seems to be doing it's job.

Any ideas?

 

if you need to keep adding freon in there is a leak somewhere.

 

But it reads almost full. I even had someone run a test and he said no leaks. Makes me wonder why it only comes out only when I add a little bit of ac

 

What are the high and low side reading when the compressor is on? whats the temp outside?

 

I will ask him tomorrow, I just remember him saying "nothing wrong with that". But drove it out to south Dakota from MN. Temps consistently around 95 at the time and no ac. Right now temp is around 66 and have tested it at around 85 and still no ac. I looked at the compressor to make sure it's running and it seems to be doing it's job
