2014 T&C MIL and Gas Cap light on
Hey all,
I bought a 2014 T&C back in August. About a week after my 1000mi, 30 day used car warranty ran out, the check engine light came on. Code was P0456 and P0441. I reset them and drove it for about 3 days. It came back on, same codes. Also, got the gas cap light. I replaced the evap canister, the gas cap, and the purge valve. Drove around for around 5 days, both the check engine light and gas cap came on again. I smoked the system and couldn't find any other leaks.
Anyone have any ideas??

Yes rather than throwing parts into it, start doing the tedious task of checking/ testing(visual and electrical) diagnosis of the system. There are a number of parts involved with the system that is throwing those codes, so it could be one of many possibilities to give you a direct answer to what exactly is at fault.

Far from throwing parts at it, I replaced the things suggested by both my uncle, who owns an auto repair business, and a service tech at the Chrysler dealership I bought it from. Those were the most common fail points and easiest parts for me to replace myself without incurring a big repair bill. And honestly, I don't mind replacing them to rule them out.
Now, it's looking like the specialized equipment will need to be dug out to diagnose the issue further. I'm just wondering if there's anything else to look at before getting it in to the dealership. I kind of wonder if it's possible that the PCM or ECM could be crapping out on me and throwing false codes.

The use of a DVOM (rather simple device) and knowledge of required specs of what EVAP system parts are should yield good results. I highly doubt that a PCM(computer) is at fault. More likely a bad connection to one of the EVAP parts.
