Have a 2015 Chrysler Town and Country that originally was throwing po172 po175 and misfire codes along with 420 catalytic converter code randomly. Several mechanics have touched the vehicle and lots of Parts have been changed. The camshaft and crankshaft sensors got changed and I brought it to a local shop to do a relearn on the sensors as for my understanding that would be required, The van was running fine but was throwing the rich codes. After taking it to a local mechanic shop to perform the relearn because my OBD2 scanner would not do that he stated that it was unable to do the relearn after three attempts. After leaving a mechanic shop on the way home the van went to limp mode. I brought it back now it continues to give codes for sensors slow to respond. This mechanic now wants to replace all of the timing and the phasers to the tune of about $3,000. I'm afraid I'm going to have that done and still have the same issue. Does anyone have any suggestions and does anyone know why after doing the relearn it won't stop going into limp mode after it's reset. Any help would be great. Thanks
the vvt solenoids been looked at? could be trash in the area stopping the solenoids from adjusting timing. if all of that is good yeah likely looking into a chain or phaser issue
