My '94 T&C won't shift out of 1st gear. It shifts into reverse and 1st without issue, and everything else seems fine. Checked all of the vacuum lines and didn't find anything disconnected or broken, anyone have any ideas before I take it to the repair shop?

If transmission always in 2nd gear, electrical parts don't work. If you remove all wires from goodworking tr it will always be in 2nd gear.
honda for example has switching gear solenoids outside transmission- easy to replace.
