'99 T&C LXi - few questions
Hello everyone - It's been awhile since I've last been here. My 1999 Town & Country has been sitting in the driveway for the past 1.5 years. Partly because I haven't really needed it, and partly because I haven't been able to figure out why the brakes are failing. I recently found some information that leads me to believe that part of the problem might be the proportioning valve in the rear. Might be a false lead, but I want to try it anyways...
My questions though have to due with some engine noise. about 6 months before parking it, I swapped the engine. After the swap the pulleys squealed a bit. Now that I've started it again, the squeal seems worse. Might be the imagination. I'm wondering it it could be related to a mis-aligned power steering pump pulley? Also, any chance the noise is coming from the alternator?
Thanks!
Doug
