ABS Fault sorted
Since buying the GV it has had an ABS fault and it concerned me greatly that it would result in being a very costly repair. However read through these forums and took some advise and tested the ABS sensors by connecting a harness so that i could check the voltage whist the ignition was on.
I found when I checked on the AC range I could see 0.5v on each of the 3 wheels but not on the front offside. Bought a 2nd hand sensor of Ebay for £9.99 (free postage too). When it arrived plugged it in thinking here we go bet it does not work, but Wow! the light went out as soon as i turned the wheel just a half of a rotation. That was a couple of weeks ago and everything is fine
There were a few people writing about how to do this on here so fair play and thank you.
