Default ABS Light & Code P1684

Looking to find out what the code P1684is for, I'm guessing something to do with my ABS light that cameon.

I've checked the fuses, wire bunldes going to all speed sensors. I think from here on out it gets expensive. Any ideas?

That code has nothing to do with your ABS. I think it's just an FYI for an emissions tester that the battery has been disconnected and the emissions monitors may not have run.

Check your brake fluid level to make sure it's OK, then you can still drive with the ABS light on. I just means there's a fault in the ABS system and the computer has turned off the ABS. Your brakes will just function like non-ABS brakes.

As for finding out the problem, you need someone (ie a shop) with the proper scan tool to read ABS codes. The most common problem I've heard of is a bad wheel speed sensor, but it could be something else and if it is a speed sensor you have to find out which one.
