Default Acceleration

Hi.... I have a 2004 Dodge Grand caravan, and The steering wheel shakes at around 40mph and higher, and I think thats just a problem with balancing, but The van also has problems accelerating after about 35 or 40, meaning that I have to press harder than I used too.... Any suggestions on what it could be.

wheel shake - first, wheel alignement.if that doesn't help, CV joints or drive shafts.
poor acceleration - could be anything. first you solve the problem with wheel shake.

Well My dad is the Primary driver of the vehicle and He just told me that he smelled a burning smell coming from the front passanger tire, I was wondering could the burning smell come from a seized caliper?

if your front right brake is blocked, it may smell, but you would also have front right wheel much hotter then the left one.

if that's not the case, you may have a wrecked CV joint front right, which is going hotter while driving. that would explain wheel shake in acceleration too.
