Alternator Pulley Noise

If you've got what I've got but I've had it since last year and still to be rectified. The answer to this ringing, or spinning sound, if that's what you've got, is either the Alternators De-couplier pulley or the belt tensioner pulley.
Answer has yet to be clarified on here and forby my car I have heard others with same problem, but I couldn't give them an answer.
