backwards crankshaft sprocket

doing my timing chain in a 2005 chrysler grand voyager (aka town and country) and removed everything and after heating up my crankshaft sprocket and running to put it back on i accidentally put it on backwards and it has slid home and now i have no idea how to get it back off there is like less than 1 ml between it and the engine and i cant get the puller claws around it or anything else for that matter please need some help or ideas thanks

Have never personally run into that predicament...maybe large enough vice grip locking pliers to the "hub" area for puller jaws to hook over?? How tight is the gear onto the crank? If not too tight maybe a brass drift at hub and "tap" it off?
GOOD LUCK!

Thanks for your ideas the gear is super tight which is why I had to heat it to get it on the plier idea is feasible I was considering welding something to it for the puller to attach to is that an option do u think?

IF you are going to replace this gear(strongly recommended) afterwards then whatever means you use to make some kind of "grab" area would work. I would be careful of reuse after this predicament and buy a new crank gear.
Make sure you tell us how this all "plays out"!
