Battery Cover?

Battery Cover?
Hi there recently I have noticed that each time it has rained the +ve battery terminal is in a pool of water. Looks like its getting in off the back of the wiper motor plastic cover. Should there be or can I get a waterproof cover or should I coat the terminal in waxoyl?
Just wondering if anyone has had this before.
