Default Battery light on dash is ON

Good morning, randomly the battery light on the dash is on for some reason, one day is on, next days is off, I went to Advance Auto Zone and the scanner read the battery, alternator and starter and they are OK, no malfunctions, I need to mention that the head lights and fog lights are in auto mode and when they are on, the two icon lights on the dash are ON, what I noticed couple of days a go is that the the fog lights and it's icon light on the dash were OFF and the battery light on the dash was ON, I thought that one of my kids were pushing buttons so I tried to turn it back ON but it just didn't work, so I started to pay more attention to this issue: when the battery light on the dash is ON, the fog lights won't work even if they are turned ON and it's icon light on dash is OFF, I replace the M2 corresponding to the fog lights but it is still not working when the battery icon light on the dash is ON.

Is there any other cause to this problem, or any solutions to this?

Thank you,

likely an alternator issue need to have a volt meter looking at battery voltage when the light is on having then scan it when the light is off will do no good.

I went to Advance auto zone for a second time when the light was ON, they tested the battery, alternator and starter and everything is good, no problems found. The light is still coming On and OFF randomly.

You did not listen to what I said. YOU NEED A VOLT METER PUT ON THE BATTERY WHEN THE BATTERY LIGHT IS COMING ON TO SEE WHAT THE VOLTAGE IS. Did not say anything about going to advance auto to have them put there POS non conclusive tool on the car.

I have the same issue. The battery tests fine. The voltage while the car is running is over 13.6 volts. I had firestone look at it and they said the battery was bad. It was under warranty but checked out fine from Autozone but they replaced it anyway. Firestone checked again and they couldn't find anything wrong with the alternator. They replaced one of the cables (positive the negative had already been replaced). The light when off for awhile and then came back on.

If the issue is not present when some one tests it there will be no conclusive why to determine the issue. DO you go to the DR when your not sick?
