Default Bleeding brakes

Hey is there a special way to bleed the brakes on a T /C 1999 with 3.8 AWD, ABS,and 4 wheel disc? I had always bled my brakes in other car the same way, but someone told me that the T / C may not be the same because of the special ABS unit, is this true? And if so is there any special toolsor way?

Default RE: Bleeding brakes

Chrysler used different ABS manufacturers over the years,

But I bled (flushed actually...just to replace the OE fluid) the "usual" way on my 2002. Started with the wheel farthest from the master etc.

I know that on some Hondas they want you to start with a front wheel. And lets not even start on the GM Powermaster system, THAT'S a PIA.

If you are having a soft pedal issue, be aware that if regular bleeding doesn't work, you may need to run the ABS pump while bleeding to work the air out of the pump.

But, try it the usual, traditional way first.
