Blinking equalizer lights
I changed the battery in my 2001 T&C and now the radio doesn't work. All I get is blinking lights on the equalizer. Is this some sort of security issue or something? Any ideas?
Pull the IOD fuse. IOD stands for 'ignition off draw'. That's the fuse that feeds the clock and other stuff that works with the key off. It should be the one in the interior fuse box with 'ears' on it. Wait a couple of minutes and put it back in. While it's out, the blinking will stop. If it resumes after you put it back in, the radio is probably toast.
I had the same problem with my 2001 Sebring. Ultimately, I had to replace the radio. I found an exact replacement on eBay. Now it works just fine.
