Hello,
We just bought a Chrysler Grand Voyager 2.8 CRD 161 Limited, we are in the UK. When opening the boot, there is a strange noise, like if it was struggling to open.
Do somebody know what it can be ?
The garage changed the panel on top of tailgate just after we saw the car and signed for it. When we first tried the car, it was working fine, and after they installed the panel it was doing this strange noise.

I forgot to tell that when closing, it seems to be smooth. It is just to open that the problem occurs. I tried to enclosed a video but not sure it has worked.

Hi I had the same problem and it was the nipple the strut fixes to was loose. A spot of weld fixed it. Check the nipple is looseon the tail gate.
