Just got to say that any springing on the handbrake cable, like cable stretching a spring or a bend in the sheathing will never give a firm handbrake. These cables can be pulled further, the arcs in the sheathing can go to a straight line and this silly device at handbrake stretches. We'll have a look in better weather.
