Button behind ignition

Default Button behind ignition

Hi can anybody tell me what the button is just behind the ignition barrel ? Looks like some sort of key release ?

Does it say Trac Off? If so, it's the on/off button for the traction control.

Hi, no I've just been messing with it and whilst pressed it let's the ignition turn off a couple more notches, could explain my flat battery issues as now I have turned it further the little trip display on the dash turns off!

if u have the cover off and your looking at the metal on the key cyl its for taking out the key cyl and replacing it.
